All Club Meeting Huge Success

We had 11 club members present at Monday's All Club Meeting at George R. Brown Convention Center. The committee to choose the site for the 2015 Rotary International Convention was taking what it thought was a routine tour of the convention center when a door opened into a huge gathering of people shouting "Rotary" and "Houston." We sang "Deep in the Heart of Houston," we had a band playing, and speakers like Minerva Perez and Mayor Bill White. There were more than a doesn't heads of consulates present and an adorable 4th grader who belted out The Star Spangled Banner like a pro. All in all, the site committee had to be impressed. So keep your fingers crossed!
