Lotsa Good News
Posted by Vicki Rowe
Several members shared good news today. Due to my temporary lapse of memory that I am now the "secretary" again, yours may have been lost!
Tom Benson shared that he had visited the West U Club and had a good time. He is also enjoying his "past-president" status.
Vickie Botkin had mixed emotions about her daughter's new job, but she has moved to Chicago and is gainfully employed.
Vicki Rowe was glad to be home and to have a daughter married. She thanked Glynn Knight for carrying on the e-bulletin in her absence, and recognized Justin Jenkins for creating a Facebook (or Spacebook, if you're Gary) page for our club. Go check it out!
Justin Lindstrom exulted in the doubled enrollment in St. Aidan's Bible School this year, and looked forward to missing us all (or not) when he and his family enjoy a trip to Disney World in the next few weeks.
Ray Young assured us that his trip to Nicaragua was eye-opening and promised to share the details in the near future.
Mike rejoiced that Verna's stress test went well and she is much better.
Gwen passed out sports calendars.
Mike Castro breathed a sigh of relief at having finished what he hopes will be his last calculus class ever. He was happy to be in attendance during the break between summer and fall classes, and we were happy to see him.
Glynn Knight welcomed Glen and Vicki back from their trip to France, and for some reason, was particularly glad to see Vicki! (Again, thanks for filling in for me!)
After the meeting, Sherry Reiland asked us to vote for Carl's Barbeque online at KTRH.com. Click on Michael Berry's picture and then vote for Carl's.
