Peterson Returns from PETS
Posted by Vicki Rowe
Keith Peterson spent the weekend in Dallas at the President Elect Training Seminar.
Keith just returned from PETS (President Elect Training Seminar) with many ideas that will help our club grow and our members mature as Rotarians.
At PETS, Keith learned about local and international programs for the upcoming year. He will be sharing those with us in the next few weeks. He has asked Clint Horne to install him and his officers at the ceremony in June.
If Keith asks you to be a committe head, please consider this an honor and a privilege. It means that he values your input and thinks you have made Rotary a priority. Our club must move forward with enlightening our members about Rotary's role in the world. Keith will be focusing on educating our members to be more aware of the scope and impact that Rotary has beyond our lunches on Monday. He hopes that everyone will get on board and help our club grow in true commitment as well as membership.
Keith also has asked that a lot of events be added to the web site's event calendar. He hopes that members will begin checking the web site as a means of staying up to date on our district events.
If you haven't yet logged in, please go to clubrunner/ca.cypress-fairbanks right now and do it. You will have to click on "forgot my password," enter an email address, and get a temporary password sent to you. This may take a few minutes, but it is necessary. Once you are on the web site, please update you profile and enter the information it asks for.
